Hello, Cisca657, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

hello, my evaluation is on the page for William Henry Barnum

  • Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference?

No, there are only 2 references and the article has a banner at the top stating that it does need more citations.

  • Is the article neutral? Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position? I don’t see any bias in this article, everything is very straightforward and factual about the subject.
  • Where does the information come from? Check the cited sources. Are they neutral? If  you think they are biased, is that bias noted? The sources are neutral, one source is a .gov page and the other is a page on the Ensign Manufacturing Company, although that page has poor grammar and some question marks like the author wasn’t sure of the information they were providing.
