Reverted edits edit

Why my edits got reverted? I was adding content related to leaked Titanfall 3 game to Wikipedia. 36.72.221.214 (talk) 21:46, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@36.72.221.214: The pages ye're editing, that are about actual real life guns, are unrelated to Titanfall 3. I'm unsure how Wikipedia handles leaks like that but I doubt it involves overwriting unconnected pages with fandom content and leaving out sources. Ye'd be better editing an appropriate fan wiki rather than overwriting information on German guns. CiphriusKane (talk) 03:28, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Banchory edit

Although the information you removed from the article Banchory looks like a copyvio, it was added in this edit in 2007 and I don't think it would be beneficial to revision delete hundreds of edits on the basis of a "hunch" that it may be a copyvio. So, it's been removed, and let's leave it at that. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:58, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Failure of CRIN edit

The subject does not fail CRIN, as the individual in question has made an appearance at List A level. For me the odd thing was as much that his biographical details had been changed and altered without me having seen. I hadn't realized this had happened nearly three years ago without me noticing. I see that one edit described him as a "ballsman"... I'm trying to work out what that means! Bobo. 04:04, 28 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please note: the subject does indeed fail NCRIC/CRIN, which was updated a few months ago – LA appearances for a non-FC side no longer meet the criteria of the guideline and essay. wjematherplease leave a message... 15:47, 28 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sometimes, problems with citations on an article can be because the article says "External links" rather than "References". Please feel free to reformat if you see this as a problem as well. That was just how I did it back 12 years ago when I set articles up... Bobo. 04:10, 28 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

DRV:Stephen Hogan edit

Dear Sir, hope you have been well. A titan here has nominated the Stephen Hogan page we diligently put together for nomination to delete. And it's been deleted. Maybe I am a poor writer that I didn't bring in Dublin actor stars in fascinating new Amazon Prime film about Indian revolutionary - Dublin Live properly into the article to further demo notability. I know you are extremely busy, but could you please participate? Many thanks for your time and consideration. Supermann (talk) 03:59, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Supermann: I have left a comment, but I am genuinely unsurprised that this happened. I feel like I've done all I can for the article at the current time. If it's to be revived, then there will need to be more indepth coverage about Hogan rather than a play Hogan was in, or Hogan's uncle, or an upcoming project that Hogan's featured in. I apologise if ye were expecting a different reaction CiphriusKane (talk) 06:51, 6 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Creative Scotlan edit

Hello CiphriusKane,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Creative Scotlan for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is a simple typo.

If you don't want Creative Scotlan to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Hannah Rarity edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hannah Rarity, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
