templates and colours/colors edit

As far as I can tell there are no strictures on modifications in oz templates. Best just to do it, and wait and see.... JarrahTree 03:08, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Very interesting! I might just try a few things and see where it gets me! CineBrick315 (talk) 04:13, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
read my deleted more historically elusive/allusive message (I assume you know how to trawl through your page's edit history) the editor named in there is particularly good with templates... JarrahTree 04:21, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

trust your weather is ok edit

I must say that having driven through the place of New Norfolk (and probably over the bridge a few times),https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blair_Street_Bridge is a very pertinent issue of misplacement - of leaving sources at the bottom of the page, where in fact they possibly they could have been used as parts of citations - as the article is not the problem, its the lack of qualifying the information and assertions... it would be really appreciated if you were able to understand the importance of cleaning it up, and utilizing the source as a cite. Thanks. JarrahTree 03:59, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, yes, most of the article is based on the first source (Department of Public Works). It is a large file from the state library which contains the documentation of its design and construction, estimates etc. When I first visited the library I failed to note pages etc, meaning I have to physically go back to the library to confirm a few things before I add the citations. I'll make some time for it shortly! CineBrick315 (talk) 06:19, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hello! I have made a huge amount of changes to the Blair Street Bridge article :) I've added as many sources as possible. It's quite the topic - the article could easily be expanded to incorporate a more detailed history of the first three bridges near its location. CineBrick315 (talk) 09:08, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
The unbelievably important thing of notes at the time of sight - I remember being in the old library archive in the twentieth century (no need for the year) and being very slack about referencing and note taking... I thus have a few images from west coast newspapers pre-1940, but no idea which year, edition or page... The thing about previous bridges, a lot depends if you can link the four (?) bridges in a single article, worth the effort if you can. JarrahTree 09:17, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
