Cinder the person, not the masonry
editHi Cinder, I started an article on you at Cinder Block (artist) and moved your myspace and company links from the Cinder Block article. Feel free to update your new article and remove any filthy lies that may crop up there. Keep on rocking. -Dr Haggis - Talk 07:46, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
Notability of Retching Red
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Retching Red, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Retching Red seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Retching Red, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Retching Red, new version
editI created a new version of the article. The previous versions got deleted for "lack of notability" [1]
[2]
[3].
The current version should satisfy WP:MUSIC, though. It covers the criteria C1 ("non-trivial published works whose source is independent" see:[4]), C4 ("non-trivial coverage in a reliable source of an international concert tour" see:[5]), C5 ("has released two or more albums" see:[6]), and C6 ("contains at least one notable musician" see:[7]). However, the article can always do with more sources and references. No blogs, no stuff from Retching Red's own site, but reliable 3rd party references as required by WP:SOURCE. To cut a long story short; I could do with a hand. Thanks, SIS 00:08, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
