How old is your account? Trailblaze24 (talk) 16:50, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Just created my acct yesterday after i saw the edits on Momoland's page. User:Chubbybangs 16:51, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Couldn't get a hold of my friends with old accounts. But I stated the point of music shows to him both in the mmld talk and his own. Seems he is not sure anymore but still doesnt want to revert by anyone. Trailblaze24 (talk) 16:54, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

From what I've seen hes gone through a lot of the other groups Trailblaze24 (talk) 16:55, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Gone through other groups? Like edited out music show wins for other groups as well? I just find it really fishy that of all the Kpop groups on Wikipedia, he really chose to edit only Momoland's page. Probably coz they recently won so it's easy to pick their page and edit? But maybe the next we can do now is to create a separate awards page like for the other groups. Maybe he just doesn't want to put down his pride after going through the trouble of editing out stuff a couple of times. User:Chubbybangs 17:01, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Take a look at his contributions and talk.

We just need an older account. And time. I already stated the point clear and concise. Up to him to read and listen. As of now he was editing from European football and seems to ignore everything that happened. No choice but to wait unless we get an old account. If you know anyone, that would be great. Trailblaze24 (talk) 17:08, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'll check his contributions tomorrow, it's quite late now from where i am lol. I'll see if i can find someone with an older account. Thanks! User:Chubbybangs 17:26, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to also get someone else with an older account blocked alongside you then go for it, this is clearly a case of newly registered accounts doing Wikipedia:Canvassing. Snowflake91 (talk) 17:41, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Don't worry. It's not going to happen. Chubbybangs (talk) 17:51, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Wanna bet? If I post this discussion between you two on WP:ANI you'll both get blocked, but I wont bother for now, only if a few more newly-registered WP:SPA fans would miraculously appear on the talk page. Snowflake91 (talk) 17:59, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please note that the Momoland page is WP:SEMI protected for a reason, trying to evade this protection by using an older account as you are discussing above is also a violation. Redalert2fan (talk) 18:18, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your comments. Please note that, on Wikipedia, consensus is determined by discussion, not voting, and it is the quality of the arguments that counts, not the number of people supporting a position. If your comments concerned a deletion discussion, please consider reading Wikipedia's deletion policy for a brief overview of the deletion process. We hope that you decide to stay and contribute even more. Thank you! Redalert2fan (talk) 17:25, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

In related to the content on User talk:Chubbybangs and Talk:Momoland. I am posting this message because you seem to be trying to gather more users/accounts or possibly trying to engage in Wikipedia:Sock puppetry which is against policy. Redalert2fan (talk) 17:25, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand why you're thinking I'm gathering more users or accounts. Maybe you can be clear about it because (1) I only have one account and (2) I'm not even inviting others to create an account here just to defend Momoland because that stuff is left for Twitter or other SNS. I understand how this community works.

As for the deletion of certain contents on Momoland's page, I know that it's not about voting or anything. I'm not even saying that it is. That's why we are trying to have a discussion with the person who kept editing the page without any valid reasoning. In my opinion, the deletions made on Momoland's page does not even seem to be done to conform to a certain standard here on Wikipedia. That is why I wanted to understand why those items need to be deleted on that page alone. Wikipedia is meant to provide factual information on topics and those items deleted on the page are all factual. It even exists on other artist's pages so why the need to delete it on Momoland's page. Chubbybangs (talk) 17:45, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

In your edit here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk%3AChubbybangs&type=revision&diff=891243791&oldid=891243632 you state "I'll see if i can find someone with an older account".which clearly is a case of Wikipedia:Canvassing and why I warned you. For your second comment about the content of the Momoland page I suggest keeping the messages at one place at Talk:Momoland and not here to me to make it easier for others to join the discussion. Redalert2fan (talk) 17:52, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
"It even exists on other artist's pages so why the need to delete it on Momoland's page?" – Told you about WP:OTHERSTUFF already, there is no general consensus or guidelines about what awards can be included and which not, so its done on article-by-article basis. In other words – if one article is pretty much crap quality and full of irrelevant and fancruft material, it does not mean that other articles have to follow this standard. And this is not the only article where the music show wins were deleted by the way, they were also deleted in a few other articles by some other users. Snowflake91 (talk) 17:54, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
But you already edited GFRIEND and G-(IDLE)'s page and you didn't delete that part from them. May I create a "List of awards and nominations received by MOMOLAND" with music program wins and awards? All of them have both awards and music program wins. If you're gonna delete "fancruft material" from k-pop pages then do it fairly. PS: Please, give an example of another k-pop act that had their music program wins deleted from their main page or their "List of awards and nominations". LUCASISALIVE (talk) 21:05, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Sunmi, Tiffany Young, Kim Jong-hyun (singer) etc. And for the millionth time, I wont delete it from other 100 articles just because I deleted it from one page, so stop with that "you deleted it on Momoland, but why xyz group can have those awards listed", you can delete them yourself if you want. Hello, I would like to start of with that I hope my comments have not made you refrain from editing, everyone is welcome to do so! If you need help with your edits you can find it on the welcome section above or ask it below this comment from me.

Now for the main point; You might be interested in joining the discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Korea/Popular_culture#Are_music_show_wins_notable? where a larger discussion has started (for all pages) if music wins should be included in the award section. So far there are users supporting both sides of the argument so I hope you feel welcome to post your views about this.

Thanks, Redalert2fan (talk) 11:45, 13 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
