Re: One Question

edit

Why do you refer to yourself in the third person on your user page? Oh, and thanks a lot for helping with the Sonic the Hedgehog page (esp helping to keep Chao under wraps.) I'm thinking about adding you to my friends list. Would you mind if I did? DeathGodDragon EDGE 21:14, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is because I wrote my userpage as if it were a Wikipedia article XD. You'd be better off adding me to a messenger list or something but do what you like :) GrandMasterGalvatron 21:23, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ok! Thanks a lot! DeathGodDragon EDGE 21:25, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mt 1994 seems to be really pissed. Do you think that we were wrong jumping on him for his super transformation level 2 theory the way we did? DeathGodDragon EDGE 00:07, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

No. We told him it wasn't true (and calmly I might add) and he didn't want to accept it. Things like what he added REALLY hurt in the peer review. I really want this to get GA status and that sometimes means people have to take their speculation elsewhere XDGrandMasterGalvatron 00:48, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

One Question...

edit

How would I be able to take credit for the userboxes I create? ChromeWulf ZX 19:55, 26 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's easy. Just use the userbox migration policy. Instead of using a template notice when you are naming the box put instead:

User:{Your user name}/Userbox/User {name of userbox}

This should make your box come up as a red link when you click preview. Then open up that link and copy and paste the userbox onto that page just as you would do for a template placing userbox instead of the name you just wrote. Save the page. Now whenever you type in {{User:{your user name}/ etc, etc, the userbox will show up. To show the link just put the brackets around it. For example:

User:Yuanchosaan/Userbox/User Heart is the name of the userbox and the link to the page.

And

This user is in possession of a heart.

is the actual userbox.

Hope you find this useful. Thanks for making the box. P.S: Can you please delete the original template page? It has to be deleted according to the policy. Thanks. Yuanchosaan 08:05, 27 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes you have to do that for the others as well. Annoying isn't it? Ah well, it's for the good of Wikipedia. Hope you can make more soon! Yuanchosaan 05:28, 28 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

about using the Star Fox image - the image is copyrighted, and copyrighted images CAN NOT be used in the UBXs. basically, UBXs aren't used for vital information, so we try to keep copyrighted stuff out of them. Scepia 02:46, 31 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading Image:Seven_Chaos_Emeralds.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Shyam (T/C) 07:34, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:Ten_kanji.gif

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Ten_kanji.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:34, 29 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 07:34, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

edit

Check out this debate in Rouge's talk page. This dude is actually trying to say that Sonic Channel isn't a reliable source, even though it's directly from Sonic Team. He's also insisting that Rouge should be mentioned as 17/18 even though that's a direct contradiction to Sonic Team's data. Can I get a little assistance here?GrandMasterGalvatron 15:08, 9 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Soul Blade UBX

I think the userbox is the way it is because not everybody is aware of Soul Blade and Soul Calibur, and therefore may be confused by the general name "Soul". Scepia 23:54, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: Captain Falcon

edit

Part of the problem is with sourcing imdb.com, this website was discussed here (this may help as well) as well as the pages it links to. So, for "In every game of the series (...), Captain Falcon was voiced by Ryō Horikawa", there needs to be reliable sources for that. EDIT: « ₣M₣ » 01:16, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Maverick (Mega Man). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maverick (Mega Man). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
