Hello, Christopheruiz, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Karen Lamassonne moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Karen Lamassonne, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Additionally, I am letting you know that I am drafting this in lieu of tagging it for deletion as it is highly promotional. Please see WP:NPOV. Praxidicae (talk) 14:46, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Notes

edit

Hi! I was alerted to the page being moved to the draftspace. Here are some notes I have:

  • You want to avoid anything that could sound like a personal interpretation of Lamassonne's artwork. The reason for this is that not only can it come across as promotional, but it also will be subjective, as it will be written from the viewpoint of a single person and is unattributed. If you're taking material from another source, make sure that you attribute it within the text (ie, "According to...")
  • This could also use more sourcing. Be careful of primary sources (things released by Lamassonne or by people or organizations affiliated with her), as those cannot establish notability. They can back up basic details, but not establish notability. Also, sources like IMDb aren't seen as reliable sources because anyone can edit the site, so be cautious of those. If you don't have the sourcing for some of the specific details, then it's better to go for the "less is more" approach.

I can definitely work with you on this and I've made some tweaks to the page, so let me know what you need! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:07, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

A page you started (Karen Lamassonne) has been reviewed!

edit

Thanks for creating Karen Lamassonne.

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thank you for new article on Karen Lamassonne. Note that it is currently an "Orphan", meaning that no other Wikipedia articles link TO it, and therefore it is tough to find for interested readers. See WP:DE-ORPHAN for pointers.
