This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (Hello Wikipedia Editors,This is Christine Kato HERSELF i am creating The Christine Kato Wikipedia page.I am amateur creating the Wiki and its not meant for promotional purposes or for publicity. I am creating a page which simply gives some information about me and what i do to the public and for people who asking about me and invention i create. The references i added are connected to the publications i have had. I am still trying to navigates your rules. It is obvious you are not confortable with some of my content. - "Creating a page which simply gives some information" is promotion and publicity, at least on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not interested in what someone wants to say about themselves. Wikipedia only summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage say about a subject, like a person, that meets the Wikipedia definition of notability. Autobiographical articles, while not forbidden, are strongly discouraged on Wikipedia. This is because, in part, people naturally write favorably about themselves, and Wikipedia prefers to have a neutral point of view. In order for you to be successful in writing about yourself, you need to in essence forget everything you know about yourself and your work, and only write based on the content of independent sources. The vast majority of people cannot do that; I've been here for many years and have yet to see it happen successfully. Please review conflict of interest. It's unlikely you will be unblocked to further edit about yourself; if you are interested in being a general contributor and writing about topics for which you have no conflict of interest, please make an unblock request as instructed above. 331dot (talk) 19:49, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) If you want to promote yourself—which includes raising awareness about yourself and your products, not just openly selling them—you are better served getting a website. Wikipedia is not a free webhost. It's clear that the only purpose of your account is to promote yourself. The only way to "fix it" is to agree that you will not attempt to create any further pages about yourself; that sort of a topic ban might be sufficient enough to get the block lifted. —C.Fred (talk) 19:51, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
Hello i do have a website as a matter of fact the organization i work with wanted making a wiki themself for me but i insisted on trying it out using my own username . I do agree that i will not attempt to create any further pages about myself; however they are still gonna get one for meChristine Kato (talk) 19:59, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

- (edit conflict) It isn't going to be any different if someone else that you work with writes about you or not. It is still a conflict of interest and they would also need to declare as a paid editor. We also don't know who is actually sitting at the computer making edits, anyone else seemingly affiliated with you making edits about you will likely be blocked as a meatpuppet. The only way there is going to be a Wikipedia article about you is if someone completely unaffiliated with you and unasked by you takes note of your work or career and chooses on their own to write about you. Also understand that a Wikipedia article is not necessarily desirable. There are good reasons to not want one.
