License tagging for Image:G-log.gif edit

Thanks for uploading Image:G-log.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:06, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:G-log.gif edit

Thanks for uploading Image:G-log.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:03, 6 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

G-Log edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article G-Log, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of G-Log. Trojan Women edit

I understand that, but was there anything particularly notable about those two productions? We could add links forever for this type of thing. Also, one of them was a link to a MySpace page, which is usually frowned upon on Wikipedia. Adam Bishop (talk) 17:32, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, obviously you shouldn't be using Wikipedia to promote you own work. If there were some reason that this production was more notable than any other production, then we could link to it, but at the moment it simply looks like you are trying to promote something you are involved with. The article's talk page is a good place to ask for more opinions, though. Adam Bishop (talk) 15:04, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:G-Log edit

Hello, Chrisplough. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "G-Log".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 02:32, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
