March 2014 edit

Hello, I'm JMHamo. I noticed that you made a change to an article, York City F.C., but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Please do not add or change content, as you did to York City F.C., without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:20, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Bootham Crescent. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:07, 26 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

March 2015 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Shaq Coulthirst. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:42, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Not sure why you needed to revert my piece on Shaq Coulthirst. My statement wasn’t contentious and can be easily verified from numerous other football sources. I added value by referencing Southend which wasn’t noted in his career details at the time (although it was noted in the stats side panel). As a supporter of York City for over 40 years, I could add much more detail to the site, although, given that much of its in the pre internet era, its hard to verify. I’ve never ever put anything onto Wiki which I know is incorrect or even contentious. Chrismf (talk) 22:17, 31 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Neil Thompson edit

Neil Thompson is noted as being in the PFA D4 Divisional team of the season (1988/89) and playing for Exeter. Can someone confirm this, if its the Neil Thompson I believe it is, then he was playing for Scarborough.

Disambiguation link notification for November 9 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited York City Knights, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gary Smith (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Proposed deletion of David Webb (football manager) edit

The article David Webb (football manager) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not managed in football league or any professional league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
