You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Show Me the Way (not-for-profit mentoring Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students via social networking) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Your hangon rationale edit

You wrote, This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Show Me The Way is a not for profit, with the central aim of supporting Aboriginal Australians through education and enhancing self-efficacy. Please refer to our information site at www.showmetheway.org.au Please contact me with any questions (contact information removed)

For any questions, we will ask you right here on your user page, not on your email. What is meant here by "importance" is not your organization's aims, but whether third-party reliable sources have noticed. Please take a look at our inclusion guidelines which apply regardless of whether or not your organization aims to make a profit. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 03:59, 23 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Our not for profit Show Me The Way has had several stories published in the national Indigenous fortnightly newspaper the Koori Mail. Last article was published in the education section 14 Dec 2011. A story was also run on NITV on 24 June 2010 after our launch at NSW Parliament House 23 June 2010

I'll reply here to your question on my talk page. First off, please note that you actually created two articles — they only differed in that one of them didn't capitalise "the" in "Show Me the Way". Wikipedia article titles are case-sensitive, so it helps to ensure that you've capitalised the title correctly. Now There are four things that I've raised; just look for the numbers in parentheses. (1) What you wrote in the other article didn't demonstrate why the organisation is likely to pass our inclusion standards; that's the main reason that it was deleted. (2) News articles by themselves aren't sufficient for a Wikipedia article: they work for major news stories, such as one about an event of worldwide significance that just happened (for example, we have an article about the death and funeral of Kim Jong-il, and news articles are the only thing that cover it so far), but incidents of worldwide political importance we know will have other things written about them. Organisations that only get news coverage and only because they're established don't fulfill our inclusion standards, largely because Wikipedia is not a newspaper. However, please note that there were other difficulties: for one thing, (3) your style of writing strongly suggests to me that you're writing in order to promote your organisation: passages such as "Built on the success of 2011, Show Me The Way programs continue to grow." aren't a good idea in light of our neutrality standards. Pages written in the way that you did are eligible for immediate deletion as advertising. Finally, (4) your statements make it obvious that you're affiliated with the organisation. We strongly discourage people to write or edit articles about organisations with which they're closely connected. I'm sorry, but you need to leave it to someone else to write about Show Me the Way. If you have more questions for me — either on this subject or on any other subject — feel free to go back to my talk page and leave another question the same way that you left the first one.
