Notability of Luiza Manga

edit

A tag has been placed on Luiza Manga, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Metropolitan90 19:17, 8 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Luiza Manga. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --Metropolitan90 19:50, 8 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Little context in Hola El Salvador

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Hola El Salvador, by LaNicoya (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Hola El Salvador is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Hola El Salvador, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 01:54, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Logo HES.png)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo HES.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:36, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. EyeSereneTALK 16:26, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

November 2007

edit

Please do not add unreferenced or controversial information about living persons to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Miley Cyrus. Thank you. NrDg 17:13, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles, as you did at Miley Cyrus. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NrDg 17:24, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced defamatory content into an article, as you did to Emily Osment, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Don't put in this information unless you have a source consistent with WP:BLP that supports it. It is made up speculation until then NrDg 17:28, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Infoboxes

edit

Please do not refactor infoboxes by adding new parameters, as you did on Anna Faris. Infoboxes have very clear parameters that are defined on the template page for the infobox. If you wish to make changes in an infobox, please discuss on the talk page for that infobox and wait for other opinions. Ward3001 (talk) 20:55, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
