License tagging for Image:Nashorn1.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Nashorn1.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:08, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

thanks for ww2 comment edit

Hi. Thanks for your support for my comments at the World War 2 article. At this point, i think we should stop any attempts to shorten the artticle. i am extremely annoyed that a few users have started to assume they have the right to rewrite everyone's work. If you want to pursue any further effforts, please feel free to do so, and to let me know. thanks. --Sm8900 15:23, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

An exciting opportunity to get involved! edit

As a member of the Aviation WikiProject or one of its subprojects, you may be interested in testing your skills in the Aviation Contest! I created this contest, not to pit editor against editor, but to promote article improvement and project participation and camraderie. Hopefully you will agree with its usefulness. Sign up here, read up on the rules here, and discuss the contest here. The first round of the contest may not start until September 1st-unless a large number of editors signup and are ready to compete immediately! Since this contest is just beginning, please give feedback here, or let me know what you think on my talkpage. - Trevor MacInnis contribs 23:55, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
