• This is one of a series of accounts which have attempted to use Wikipedia to advertise Karvy Group. At least one of the accounts was operated by a marketing agency, the others may have been also operated by the same or different marketing agencies, or they may have been operated in-house by the Karvy Group. it makes no difference: all of the accounts were working on behalf of the Karvy Group to use Wikipedia for advertising. Please take not of the following facts.
  1. Wikipedia is not an advertising or marketing service. Any page which advertises or promotes anything is liable to deletion without warning, and any account which uses Wikipedia for advertising or promotion is liable to being blocked from editing.
  2. Once an account is blocked, it is possible for the editor who used it to request an unblock, but unless and until the block is removed, the editor is not permitted to edit Wikipedia. Anyone who attempts to evade the block by using another account is liable to be blocked without warning, whether it is the same person or another person editing on behalf of the same person, company, organisation or group.
  3. Unless there are special circumstances which make an exception justifiable, any request to be unblocked must be made from the original account, not from a later account which was set up in an attempt to evade the block.
  4. Editing which forms all or part of paid work, whether as an employee or as a contractor or agency, without full disclosure of the nature of your involvement, is contrary to the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use, and therefore illegal.
  5. You may like to consider that spending time and therefore the company's money on repeatedly creating an article which will just be deleted again and again is a waste of the company's resources, which could better be used to promote the company by legitimate means.
