Arxiloxos concerning your deletions - could you help me, Hi Arxiloxos - I made some additions to Fania Records, Larry Harlow, and Fania All-Stars - this is Chino Rodriguez - I have been the representative of most of the Fania All-stars since 1993 and I wanted to update some of the information - such as that Larry Harlow is also known as el Judio Maravilloso (the Marvalous Jew) and that he is "The" recording Producer of the Fania All-stars and that he also is the band leader of the smaller offshoot of the super band "Fania All-Stars" called the Latin Legends of Fania, also that this March 18 2014, ASCAP will be giving the Vanguard Award in NYC to the Fania All-stars... and I also placed Links - maybe I did not word it correctly - so this is why I created an account and reached out to you for help. Welcome, and an explanation of conflict of interest policies

Thank you for your note at my user page, which I have copied above for the convenience of anyone who may take an interest here. Below I have provided you with the standard message of advice given to new editors who are editing on subjects where they have a conflict of interest.

In addition , I'd also point you to the discussion entitled Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion. Wikipedia takes this issue very seriously, and edits that look like advertising are not favored here. Also, all edits should be verifiable in independent reliable sources.

You may find that your best bet for contributing on these subjects would be to post your suggested edits, with their substantiating sources, on the talk pages of the relevant articles, allowing other editors to review the edits and make them where appropriate and with a neutral point of view. For example, the ASCAP award sounds like something that could be appropriately added to the Fania All-Stars page, assuming it's supported by suitable sources. Editing with a conflict of interest

Hello, ChinoLMB. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
