The reason I said that is the "official" logo because this is the logo I have seen being used in all the advertisements. While the image that I reverted to is not the same as this, it is on what is currently the only Sony website that is only related to Home. I am posting this on Talk: PlayStation Home as well. AFD

Thanks for the commentary on my talk page. It's always best to do this kind of thing here and not in the AFD, so it was probably my bad to even mention it there. I appreciate the discussion, and I hope that some minor disagreement over in AFD will be taken in the spirit it is intended, as a content/policy discussion. :) Anyhow, further to AFD etiquette, per Wikipedia:Afd#How to discuss an AfD, it's traditional when removing comments to add a strike-through rather than deleting altogether. (This can be done through your entire comments, not just the 'vote'.) This helps to maintain continuity in the discussions, and to make sure that replies aren't suddenly orphaned, leaving the person making the reply looking a little foolish, apparently replying to nothing. In this case I am happy for the comments to stay off as only you and I are involved, and it's all between friends, eh? :) Also, I had not meant to imply that you couldn't continue to comment, which you're of course perfectly entitled to do, including to get stuck into me if you feel the need - we all make mistakes after all! Hi. It's all very confusing: It was originally removed by someone else (as part of a fairly large edit that removed other things as well). I then partially reverted that edit with the intention of putting the valid information back in. As the Etymology section didn't appear to use proper markup and seemed to have some other syntax errors in I left it out with the intention of adding it again afterwards after I had fixed it up. Obviously I forgot! Sorry. There were a lot of edits happening at the time and it was a bit frantic. Obviously, feel free to put it back in. Hi. Links like that one are usually discouraged to avoid an article acquiring a large collection of links which is not allowed under WP:NOTLINK (sorry, should of probably linked to that one in the summary as well). If links like that are included, it gives precedent for more links to be added and, well, you can see where I'm going! And as none of them is more or less notable than another, it is better just to have none. Sorry, I should have probably been more specific in my edit summary. Burnout Paradise 720p/1080i

Just wondering about whether Burnout Paradise actually is rendered in 720p, then upscaled to 1080i. Regardless of how this is done, 720p would still be considered the native resolution - it doesn't have to be the OS as you said in your edit summary, Halo 3 and GTA IV both have a similar system (rendered at a lower res than 720p, but are upscaled by the game to it). This link seems to imply it is upscaled from 720p too. I think it should stay as 720p anyway. Fin©™ 09:54, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi. I would have thought that as it is upscaled in-game (not by the OS which I believe is the case with some games), the game supports that resolution and it is therefore "native". For lack of a better example, it's not like games like PixelJunk Eden who's native resolution is 1080p, but the PS3 scales it down for TV that don't support it. Ofcourse, I may be completely wrong! Either way, it should be in the article (whether it be in the infobox or not) as it is notable, particularly (as Criterion say on their site) to users with older TVs that don't support 720p. Nah, I think native is the resolution it's rendered at, this can be upscaled by the game or by the OS. It seems to be if this is lower than 720p (Halo, GTA, CoD 4, Haze - in all games the native res is lower than 720), the game upscales it to 720, where the OS takes over and does what it wants (eg, scaling to 1080p). Likewise, I imagine Burnout is rendered at 720p, but then the game upscales it to 1080i, which is the res the OS sees (I assume the XMB can't scale to 1080i? I know the 360 can). I could be wrong though... It's certainly notable for inclusion alright, Criterion did make a fuss over it, but I don't think it should be under native res in the infobox. You're probably right. That seems to be the way it's done on other articles. Not sure I agree with it though. I think the resolution a game is rendered at is irrelevant to most people. It's the signal that goes to their TV which I'm sure most people are concerned with.
