Expanding and improving the Pokémon articles

edit

I saw your name on the WikiProject Pokédex rollcall. The Pokémon Adoption Center is improving, expanding, cleaning up, and reorganizing the Pokémon-related articles, and I wanted to invite you back to help. Some of the Pokémon species stubs still need to be adopted, and we're still building consensus on how to structure tools like categories and lists, designing new infoboxes, and writing a new Pokémon article style guide. If you're interested, take a look at our new Wikiportal, and come and contribute to the discussion at WP:PAC. - A Man In Black (Talk | Contribs) 23:10, 12 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Vandals

edit

Information about how to deal with vandalism is available at WP:VAND, it should explain it pretty clearly, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Good luck, and happy editing. Prodego talk 19:50, 25 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Vanity pages

edit

I noticed you asked a question at Talk:Zachary meloche on what to do about vanity pages. If it's something short that's obviously vanity like that article is you can usually use the {{db-bio}} template to tag the article for speedy deletion. Just make sure articles you tag that way meet the rules listed in Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. Other tags that you may need to use a lot are {{db-band}} and {{db-nonsense}}. Check Category:Speedy deletion templates (can't link it for some reason) for a list of all possible tags you can use. Thanks for your interesting in trying to keep the Wikipedia clean of nonsense. --TheKoG (talk|contribs) 19:55, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Since that question has already been answered, I'll just explain how to revert.
To revert an edit by another user you:
  1. Open up the history, which can be accessed by pressing the history tab at the top of the page
  2. Find the entry for the edit you want to revert, if you just want to revert the last edit, that is the top entry
  3. Click "last" to load the changes that were made, and make sure you want to revert them
  4. Click "Revision as of..." on the left side of the page, it will have the editor you are reverting's name under it
  5. Click edit this page
  6. Enter an edit summary
  7. Save the page
If you are sure you want to revert an edit and don't need to see the diff, you can select the revision from the history page. For more info see WP:REVERT. Hope this helps, Prodego talk 20:16, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

test template

edit

Hi CHercherEccles. I just wanted to make a suggestion when using the {{test}} template. Use {{subst:test}} instead of just {{test}} "These templates should pretty much always be used with the "subst:" keyword, as strongly suggested on Wikipedia:template substitution." Waikiki!!! ^_^ --ElectricEye (talk) 04:13, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
