Prime difference function edit

I think Prime difference function should be merged to prime gap where it's currently just called gn. PrimeHunter (talk) 19:37, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

So it is. I'll try and wedge the bits from the function article into the gap one, then redirect it. Chenxlee (talk) 19:43, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Quadratic irrational edit

Thanks, that's a nice little proof of the irrationality of the square root of non square numbers. Dmcq (talk) 09:01, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

en-dash edit

In this edit, why did you change "1–22" to "1-22"? WP:MOS plainly requires an en-dash rather than a hyphen in that context. (I just fixed several of these in that article.) Michael Hardy (talk) 19:46, 29 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

context edit

I think the phrase "In transcendance theory,..." fails to tell the lay reader that mathematics is what an article is about. The lay reader has heard of mathematics but not of "transcendance theory". Something called "transcendance theory" could be about the supernatural or about psychology or something. Michael Hardy (talk) 03:40, 9 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
