Managing a conflict of interest

  Hello, RadixxTheNefarious. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. HᴇʀᴘᴇᴛᴏGᴇɴᴇꜱɪꜱ (talk) 14:06, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of 60 Seconds!

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 60 Seconds! requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/60 seconds!. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ... discospinster talk 17:25, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Agapitus Lye

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Agapitus Lye requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Palmsandbeaches (talk) 08:23, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

Happy Birthday!

Happened to notice your name change and when I went to check it out I noticed the bit on your user page - Happy Birthday (when you return from your WikiBreak)! Pahunkat (talk)

@Pahunkat: Thanks man! I still check in on Wikipedia every day at least once to make sure I'm not missing anything. Today's been good so far.
That's great! You might want to cut back your wikibreak a bit to finish on the 31st, assuming everything goes to plan now... ;) Pahunkat (talk) 11:23, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

DYK for SSA impersonation scam

On 31 December 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article SSA impersonation scam, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/SSA impersonation scam. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, SSA impersonation scam), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Proposed deletion of Zeffo

The article Zeffo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline requirement nor the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) supplementary essay. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Article

Before publishing any article on COVID-19 scams we may need to get consensus, as there's currently a small section over here. I'm working to collect sources in my sandbox. Pahunkat (talk) 13:22, 15 January 2021 (UTC)

@Pahunkat: Alright. Thanks for letting me know. I think it would be best if we could merge the small section in that article to our COVID-19 fraud article. cheezejack (talk) 13:28, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
I'm tempted to push for another article, since when researching I've found loads of sources. Have you seen my sandbox? Pahunkat (talk) 13:40, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Yes. I've seen your sandbox. I agree with you, I've found tons of sources. cheezejack (talk) 13:47, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
I've tried a new layout - initiation, persuasion, payment is really how one scams work, whereas there are so many new COVID-19 scam variants. I actually took up scambaiting for a bit, but I don't do that nowadays so haven't seen COVID-19 scams in action before. Pahunkat (talk) 13:49, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
