Alberta Premiers and social credit edit

As a side note, I see that you're interested in social credit. I'm actually in the process of improving and expanding all articles on Alberta premiers; when I get to Aberhart (and, to a lesser extent, Manning) would you be willing to have a look over the stuff about their views on social credit economic theory? I'm more knowledgeable about the political aspect than about the economic aspect. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 22:30, 11 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I guess you could say that I'm interested in Social Credit...;). I have spent a number of years to the study and dissemination of Douglas' ideas. I would be more than happy to help you with the articles on the articles on Aberhart and Manning. I have read Alf Hooke's book, 30+5, and I have quite a bit of material relating to Social Credit in Alberta (I live in the Edmonton as well). I have Douglas' and Aberhart's testimony before the Alberta Agricultural Commission, as well as many other works from the Alberta Social Credit government. I also can give you letters from Douglas to Aberhart, or Douglas' appraisal of the Social Credit government in Alberta. If you want this information, I have it all on PDF files, so I can email it to you if you give me your email address. Take care. Chdouglas (talk) 16:06, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Economics census edit

Hello there. Sorry to bother you, but you are (titularly at least) a member of WP:WikiProject Economics, as defined by this category. If you don't know me, I'm a Wikipedia administrator, but an unqualified economist. I enjoy writing about economics, but I'm not very good at it, which is why I would like to support in any way I can the strong body of economists here on Wikipedia. I'm only bothering you because you are probably one of them. Together, I'd like us to establish the future direction of WikiProject Economics, but first, we need to know who we've got to help.

Whatever your area of expertise or level of qualification, if you're interested in helping with the WikiProject (even if only as part of a larger commitment to this wonderful online encyclopedia of ours), would you mind adding your signature to this page? It only takes a second. Thank you.

MfD nomination of User:Social Credit/Sandbox edit

User:Social Credit/Sandbox, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Social Credit/Sandbox and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Social Credit/Sandbox during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion.

I don't think you will have any objection to the above, although we could merge some of the edit history of that page into that of the article Social Credit if that would be worthwhile.

There is also the page User talk:Social Credit/Sandbox. That could be moved to become a subpage of Talk:Social Credit, particularly if we merge the edit history of the article; or deleted if it is no longer of any interest at all.

Please reply at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Social Credit/Sandbox. – Fayenatic London (talk) 07:25, 1 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Social Credit article edit

I looked at the changes and I don't believe that the links meet WP:EL. Clearly the list is not minimal as the policy calls for. I also have serious doughs that all of the links comply with the meritable, and directly relevant requirements. Vegaswikian (talk) 15:56, 18 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
