I suggest you read WP:HELLO, WP:SPAM. WP:NOT and WP:V, what I was trying to do was to put the article into Wikipedia format. Give me a shout on my userpage when you want me to continue to edit the article. --Richhoncho (talk) 17:50, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

OK you have fixed the categories, good, next you need to remove all the trivia personal stuff, find references for any direct quotes (or they will be removed, sooner or later, by a Wiki editor), move the external links to the last part of the article. Also try and link in with internal links to other articles. The article looks like a "cut and paste" - if it is it will be removed as a copyright issue. You also need third party references to establish notability - just because he is a radio presenter doesn't make him notable. --Richhoncho (talk) 18:16, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reply to your question about sources

edit

Charly, first off welcome to Wikipedia! One of the most important things about this place is that we must be able to show that everything stated in articles can be verified which means that we need to find reliable secondary sources which support the statements which have been made. Secondary sources are ones which are not connected with the subject - e.g. in this case the BBC website would be a reliable source because it is independent whereas Steve's own website is not a reliable source because he could say whatever he liked there; other examples of unreliable sources are things like blogs or fan sites. The reference that you do have - to his BBC bio - is good but it only confirms the very basic facts so what you need to do is find other sources which confirm the jobs he as had at other radio stations and so on - may be you could did up some articles in local newspapers or archived news/press releases from the radio stations themselves? Hope this helps to get you started. Kind regards, nancy (talk) 20:47, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

You could reference a news item from Digital Spy but not things posted on the forums. nancy (talk) 20:56, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
And to answer to the other part of your question, there is no set minimum number of references required - it all depends on whether the key facts of the article have been proven. nancy (talk) 20:58, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
