May 2014 edit

Your recent editing history at Dinosaur Train shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. SummerPhD (talk) 12:07, 7 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

You are currently editing against the current consensus on the article's talk page. You have been repeatedly asked for independent reliable sources for the material you wish to add, as required by verifiability one of our core policies. Please stop adding the material until you have established a consensus on the article's talk page.
If you continue to add the material -- in any form -- without first establishing a consensus for its inclusion, you will be blocked from editing. (Technically, you could have been -- perhaps should have been blocked for your repeated edits today, as you were already under an edit warring warning when you made the edits.) This is your final warning. - SummerPhD (talk) 04:47, 11 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Dinosaur Train edit

It's funny you came on my talk page just as I was unwatching Dinosaur Train and your page. I know what it's like having a hot button issue and being stonewalled - been there done that. But to be honest your issue with Dinosaur Train has gotten tiresome beyond belief. You don't listen and nothing angers editors more. So I'll say it again. Drop it, let it go, let the storyline evolve and see where it goes in a few months. SlightSmile 23:18, 16 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Donner60. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Dinosaur Train  with this edit, without explaining why. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 01:56, 8 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your user page edit

Hi. I stumbled across your user page, and while I appreciate your kindness, I don't feel it's appropriate for a user page. User pages may optionally contain limited information about yourself as a person and/or as an editor, but in my opinion, it shouldn't be like a page where you list all of your favorite and least favorite editors. In the end, it's your choice. I don't think there's anything very "disruptive" about it, but I personally think it should represent you yourself as a person, not what you think about others. If you would like to express your gratitude toward another user, a simple personal message on their user page does the job very nicely. —Mz7 (talk) 03:17, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Mz7: Well, I finally got around to changing my user page, and wanted to know what you think of it. (you'll notice I've discovered the wonderful world of userboxes as well!) - CharlieBrown25 (talk) 05:36, 19 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reply to your message edit

You are forgiven. Unfortunately, I won't be here long. After no one believed what I said that Cowboy Bebop: The Movie was not a TriStar film and I wasn't using IMDb a source, I'm quitting Wikipedia. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 14:30, 11 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

@FilmandTVFan28: Gosh, are you sure you want to quit? How much have you tried to convince them? Couldn't you just give them a link to your sources?

Santo Bugito edit

Hi there, your edit at Santo Bugito isn't particularly helpful. There's clearly been a dispute about content, and merely restoring the content without 1) providing a source and 2) participating in discussion on the article's talk page doesn't do anything to remedy the dispute. Consensus is not determined through edit-warring, it's determined through discussion. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:21, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Creation Science edit

Thank you for reverting yourself on the deletion of info in the lead. If you discuss it on the talk page, it will generate a lively discussion. I think a lot of the feedback will be negative, certainly mine will because the creationist people included the word science in their name, but it is certainly a worthy topic. 18:58, 5 May 2016 (UTC) Lipsquid (talk) 18:59, 5 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

FilmandTVFan28 edit

Hi Mr. Brown you may not remember me but I was that ip user that got into trouble with the user FilmandTVFan28 (almost 2 years ago) over Anivision working on Santo Bugito. I just wanted to let you know that not long after he blocked me for and has been blocking every single account that I have made since (I had to go to a whole new location, just to write this message). Trust me I have learned my mistakes from the past, but this bully is downright blocking all of my accounts WITHOUT warning for stuff like adding useful info/facts onto pages, fixing grammatical errors, adding 1 character on articles (like a letter, punctuation mark, etc), and so much more. He has also blocked at least 3 more ip's in the process. I was wondering if you could help me take this bully down? He just has to stop blocking me for doing nothing wrong. (It has gotten to the point where I am crying because I am being treated like garbage for doing very little wrong). Now I hope you get this message before that bully comes in and deletes it (as I think he is watching my ip address). Best of luck Nic Nagel.Ms. Trya (talk) 16:02, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Oh yeah, I totally remember that whole Santo Bugito thing. But I don't remember how you were involved in it. Sure thing, I'll help you out. Sorry it's been awhile. What would you like me to do Ms. Trya? FilmandTVFan28 is pretty mean. He doesn't seem to care about the common good, and only wants his way. I remember he was very rotten to me. Talk to a great user named Mz7 about it. He's very kind, patient and helpful. He helped me out back when I was new. I'll try to help the best I can. I don't think FilmandTVFan28 will budge just by talking to him. He's a stubborn guy. I sure hope that we can stop him. I was just like you once, and I learned from my mistakes. Mz7 knows way more about things around here than I do. - CharlieBrown25 (talk) 00:58, 10 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Ms. Trya: First of all, FilmandTVFan28 is not an administrator, so he could not have been the one to block you (only administrators can block accounts). Secondly, it sounds like you are not being blocked because you are making grammatical fixes; rather, you are being blocked because you are evading past blocks. To put it simply: blocked users are not allowed to edit under any account. In order to continue editing, you will need to convince administrators that there are good reasons for unblocking you. Creating new accounts to evade blocks is considered a form of "sock puppetry" or abuse of multiple accounts, and it is a serious breach of community trust here, and typically your accounts will automatically be blocked upon being discovered.
The purpose of blocks is not to bully you or to punish you, but to protect Wikipedia from the disruption caused by abusing multiple accounts. When you use multiple accounts, you split your editing history, preventing the community from being able to review your contributions, and it also makes it look like there are multiple people editing an article when it's really just one person; you can see how that's pretty deceptive. The solution is to log back in to your original account – the first account you ever used to edit Wikipedia – and follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks. It sounds like the problem isn't FilmandTVFan28, but your evasion of your blocks. I hope this information is helpful. Mz7 (talk) 02:45, 10 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry if I sound really grumpy here. After about a year of being an administrator myself, I feel that I've kind of become jaded to users who evade blocks. If you can provide more information, such as the name of your past accounts or IP addresses, I might be able to better explain to you why you were originally blocked so that you can better understand what you need to do to get those blocks lifted. Mz7 (talk) 02:58, 10 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Mz7: Wow! That's awesome Mz7, you became an administrator! You've always been so helpful to me, and thanks for helping straighten this out. Remember helping me with the Dinosaur Train thing all those years ago? That was great! You really explained a lot to me. Thanks for all the great work you do here! One day you should win Wikipedian of the year. (That is a thing right? I think I saw it once). - CharlieBrown25 (talk) 07:57, 10 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! I don’t think I deserve such an award, but I do want to let you know that if you read my request for adminship, I mentioned you and your dispute on Dinosaur Train in my response to question 3.   Mz7 (talk) 21:46, 10 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Mz7: Hey, that's amazing! My whole thing was actually able to help you become and admin! I think I might have mentioned once that you should be one. Really, I picture you like as that stereotype of the wise man who sits on the mountain for Wikipedia. I find it funny that here we are again, you, me, and FilmandTVfan28. It seems that you've resolved the problem here with Ms. Trya. Again, great job! - CharlieBrown25 (talk) 08:11, 12 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mr. Brown so sorry for the late reply, but I just wanted to thank you for helping me, you are truly an awesome person for that :-). Also I wanted to see if you wanted anything else from me?18:07, 15 July 2018 (UTC)Mrs. Tyra (talk)
