No, a source does not have to be on the internet to be legit, and this does kinda raise a good question. Maybe this is something that can be brought up on Wikipedia talk:Record charts to see what others think. The Early Edition charts are a paid service and I'm not quite sure how one would cite this in an article? Eventually the bulk of them end up on Billboard's website a few days later anyway. - eo (talk) 12:13, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
