Thank you for explaining the issue with my add. Is the following link comply with Wiki Guidelines?
I used it as a benchmark. I'm not sure how this link complies, and my link does not. No doubt the content is great, but according to the guidelines, shouldn't it be part of the article itself and not a link? I'd love to get your take on this. Thanks! Chad.gillard (talk) 21:20, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- Hello Chad, welcome and I'm sorry you've run into so much trouble trying to contribute here. I'm not sure about the already existing link (I didn't take the time to look closely), but yours failed WP:SPAM because that guideline says, "A video is a spamming video if....It has links on the video page—the page that plays the video—that go to a commercial site or to another spamming video, even if it is only one link among many legitimate links." The page you are linking to has links that go to a corporate website (http://www.bluebellinn.com), as well as linking to a page selling cooking products, and thus cannot be allowed. Sorry again this has been so much trouble for you, but if you know a lot about Aebleskiver, please-add the information to the article, so long as it's backed by reliable, independent sources.
