{{helpme}} Hey I'm new here and I'll be posting some things shortly.

I am a student at Tulane University in New Orleans and my specialty is Middle Eastern politics and history. I am also a connoisseur of all things New Orleans, so I'll be keeping an eye out for additions and revisions I can make on that front.

My first submission is New Orleans related and I'd like to get some feedback on it. I'll be posting it within the next day or so, after revisions.

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to David Spielman, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Thanks for uploading File:Seafood book.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
