Speedy deletion nomination of User:Cgioukcg/sandbox edit

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Cgioukcg/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. October 2022 edit

Hello Cgioukcg. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Car glass, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Cgioukcg. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Cgioukcg|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 08:35, 6 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Curb and many thanks for taking the time to look through this and your reply.
I am not paid by the company to create this page.
We would simply just like to be officially recognized as an organization of impact, sustainability, changing lives globally and taking new initiatives such as allowing travelers to pay by crypto.
Follow Alice is the first Adventure travel company to do this and a lot of people are asking about it so I saw it fit to add it on here so anyone who searches can find it.
Please forgive me if I have done any thing wrong but I could see many other travel companies has used wikipedia to create awareness around their initiatives hence why I created this and submitted it.
Examples:
Intrepid Travel
TourRadar
TUI Group
Thomas Cook Group
Can you please advice why those organizations are allowed to have their presence on wikipedia and this one is again your guidelines? Cgioukcg (talk) 09:58, 6 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Now, wait just a second. If you're not affiliated with the company, who exactly is "we" in We would simply just like to be officially recognized...? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Seraphimblade (talkcontribs)
I have all the seconds you need. An affiliation is not the same as "Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) "
"we" are the people making this organization possible to build jobs, homes and dreams of people in less fortunate countries and contributions comes in many forms.
I will try to ask this again...
Can you please advice why those organizations are allowed to have their presence on wikipedia and this one is again your guidelines? Cgioukcg (talk) 13:26, 6 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
No, because other stuff exists is not a valid argument. It is very common that certain companies within a sector are notable, and others are not, so I'm not engaging in comparisons. The question is whether this subject, in particular, is an appropriate subject for an article. Even if it is, though, articles must be written in a strictly neutral manner, sticking to facts verified by reliable and independent sources, and not promote or "talk up" their subject. That aside, it's become clear to me at this point that you are either an employee of this company or otherwise are engaged in paid editing, so you may either disclose that as required, cease editing, or be blocked; your choice. If your next edit is anything but making the paid editor disclosure (or requesting assistance in doing so), I will presume you have chosen the third option.
