Welcome! edit

Hello, Cfitzgerald22, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Cfitzgerald22, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Cfitzgerald22 edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Cfitzgerald22, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Contested deletion edit

I have followed the same format as other Marketing Agencies that appear on Wikipedia. If there is a specific section that should be removed, please allow me to remove it.

Overview of what the company does History of the company Sub-brands within the company List of clients charitable initiative created by the company

Please allow me to edit or remove any sections you feel don't fit with other pages of the same type of business. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cfitzgerald22 (talkcontribs)

Your userpage is not an article. It is a special page where you can write a bit about yourself, the user behind this account. Typical userpages have a small amount of biographical info, disclosures of conflicts of interest and paid editing, and a description of your interests and goals as a Wikipedia editor.
Article drafts are more suited for the draft article space, where you can use the WP:Article wizard to assist you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:35, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Cfitzgerald22: You're welcome. A reminder that if you work for the company you are writing about, disclosure of this information is mandatory and non-negotiable, per Wikipedia's paid editing disclosure policy. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:53, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, Cfitzgerald22. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 01:51, 29 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

We want our company listed on Wikipedia. How would we go about doing that? I disclosed my affiliation when creating the page and followed the same formula that every other marketing agency used.
We're trying to comply, but we're unsure how to proceed. Cfitzgerald22 (talk) 18:00, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Please realize that your company isn't entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists and wants to have one. Wikipedia requires a company to satisfy its notability criteria to be considered worthy of inclusion. This means your company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable sources that are independent of the company. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:43, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
