Proposed deletion of European Union-North Cyprus Customs Union edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article European Union-North Cyprus Customs Union, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

The customs union doesn't exist - so why is there an article stating that is doesn't ???? Whe don't have articles on other non-existant articles either. The content should be moved to relevant TRNC relations pages where it likely already exists.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. north Cyprus related page edit

Hello and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. However you shouldn't create separate articles unless there is something substantial that can be added to to them. E.g. and an article Real estate in Makarios Street in Paphos stating only "The street has 23 houses." is not particularly helpful. Instead try and add this info to the relevant pages on Northern Cyprus. Passportguy (talk) 21:06, 24 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of List of North Cypriot companies edit

A tag has been placed on List of North Cypriot companies requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Request reason:

Many Turkish Cypriot Wikipedians were blocked till now by Future Perfect at Sunrise and some other Wikipedia admins. They give the reason: "sockpuppet of VivaNorthCyprus". I examined that these Wiki admins blocked myriad Wikipedians from North Cyprus with the same reason. It is apparent that there may be misuse of some priveleged rights, whatever they are in Wikipedia fora!

Decline reason:

Excuses; this does not address the copyright violations. Declined; requesting checkuser. -Jeremy (v^_^v Cardmaker) 00:17, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Request reason:

There is no copyright violation. Two cases: The image of East Mediterranean EEZ is self-drawn. The article about Turkish Federated State of North Cyprus has no copyright appertained to it, as can be seen from the Talk Page of the related article.

Decline reason:

The sockpuppetry charge appears credible, though.  Sandstein  19:30, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I was blocked for Copyright accusations. Since, this accusations are completely baseless, anoother admin (Sandstein) trying to change the reason for block to sockpuppetry. Sockpuppetry accasation is also intentional accusation. When I say and prove this, you can be sure that they will find an excuse in anyway. They are blocking Wiki users from North Cyprus.

Decline reason:

Directly from your block log: apparent sock of User:VivaNorthCyprus, also serial copyright violations. Sandstein is not changing the charge; looking over the SPI for that user I am also convinced you are indeed, if not a sockpuppet of that user, a meatpuppet of same. Declined. Keep screaming censorship and racism and we'll adjust the block to shut you up. -Jeremy (v^_^v Cardmaker) 22:47, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
