Disability rights in the United States edit
Hi! Your instructor let me know that you wanted to start this article. I think that this is a good idea, because while the timeline does have information it's still just a timeline. Here's how I would see an article like this being set up:
- Lead section (self-explanatory)
- History section: This would give a general overview of the history of disability rights in the US. You could separate it by era or decades.
- Legal section: This would cover the laws that have been passed to protect disability rights. It can be separated into two sections: One would cover disability rights on the Federal level while the other would cover the laws at the individual state level.
- Groups/activism section: This section would more specifically cover the organizations that are fighting for disability rights.

Hi Shalor! I have another question I'd like to ask you, and this is rather time-sensitive as the project is due by Wednesday. I am adding onto the Wikipedia article "The Disability Rights Movement," and I would like to change the title to "Disability Rights Movement in the United States." My reasoning is because it doesn't accurately portray a world view and focuses almost entirely on America, so I would like to delete the minimal contributions to the UK and Canada and focus on America.
