You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:10, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • I'm blocking you because a look at your edits has shown that your primary interest here is to add mentions of Bush Air and your book to Wikipedia. It looks extremely likely that you are the book's author or at least someone affiliated with him. The book appears to be self-published or published through an extremely small publisher. I don't see where it's really received enough attention or is considered to be authoritative enough to warrant a mention on Wikipedia. You've repeatedly tried to add it to various articles ([1], [2], [3], [4], [5]) and I note that at one point you had a very promotional article (with likely WP:COPYVIO) in your sandbox. I am aware that you have never been given an official warning on advertising or promotion (although your sandbox article was declined due to it reading like an advertisement), but this is a bit extreme. It's possible that you may be unblocked, but you would first have to show that you understand the following:
  1. That Wikipedia is not a place to promote your business or your work.
  2. That linking to self-published sources is extremely discouraged, especially if you wrote it yourself.
  3. That you will not link to your business or work on Wikipedia.
Basically, I need to know that you understand that Wikipedia is WP:NOT an advertising front and that you will not attempt to re-add your book as a source to any articles. It just doesn't pass the criteria on Wikipedia for reliable sources and given that you also link to the purchase page for the book, it's pretty unambiguous promotion. Request reason:

Hi , I hope I can be unblocked after 3 years. I am aware of the reasons for blocking was due to me directing edits for self promotion and did not pay attention to the conditions prior to doing so. I have now read the guidlines and conditions now and will not do it again! Thanks.

Decline reason:

User is unresponsive to questioning. Yamla (talk) 12:20, 21 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

So what will you do when you are unblocked? Huon (talk) 18:38, 14 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
