Hello CassieAgirl, hope you are having more luck than I am on this assignment! I really have no clue what to do. Anyways hope this is the posting on wall that we have to do before tomorrow.

add to social penetration theory

edit

I would like to see more added on the objective theory that is listed within social penetration theory. CassieAgirl (talk) 19:23, 1 February 2013 (UTC)CassieAgirlReply

Adding an Intercultural sub-section to the Extensive Research and Applications section could benefit this page a lot. I like it. Ajungle (talk) 01:37, 11 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Review of your article

edit

Hi, CassieAgirl I am in the 11:50am intercultural communications class. I really like that you chose Social Penetration theory, this is a great theory with a lot of information to cover, give examples for, and explain thoroughly so people can understand the depth this theory has. I'm not sure what part you changed or added? The objective theory I believe? However, this topic and article has so much to expand on so great choice! Cweber10 (talk) 18:31, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi, CassieAgirl I am also in your class for Intercultural Communication. This theory is a great topic with some real room to expand on. If you need any help I would consider searching articles on Social Penetration Theory and how it is related to topics we've discussed in class such as identity, etc. If you need any feedback at all once your article is a little more expanded. Feel free to reach out to me on my talk page! User:Laurenleaf (talk)

Hi Cassie Girl I just wanted to say that after reviewing your topic I learned a lot more about the Social Penetration theory, I also agree with Lauren that this theory could be even more in-depth by adding a few examples to explain the theory better. Because the topic is so large it makes it great to allow more room for expansion and knowledge. Great job so far! Your article turned out great! Feel free to review my page as well, even though class is over. I won't mind if you don't! Jkparker09 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jkparker09 (talkcontribs) 02:18, 2 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you to those who have reviewed my article. Although I did not have much for you to read from I have made some changes and added to the article. I have looked over the 2 reviews I've received about adding to the social penetration theory. I have researched 5 articles from the APU database and I am further elaborating on details pertaining to the social penetration theory. CassieAgirl (talk) 06:48, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wiki # 6 ( Changes to the article)

edit

For the Social Penetration Theory I will cover in further detail how people are like an onion, the more we get to someone the layers of this person are peeled back revealing the core of who they are. I will also address how self disclosure plays a part in to the social penetration theory. In order for both parties and groups to grow in a relationship then both parties must self disclose. Race an ethnicity also affect and influence self disclosure. CassieAgirl (talk) 08:36, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wiki 8 ( Adding myself as a reviewer)
