Speedy deletion nomination of Lesbian non fiction

A tag has been placed on Lesbian non fiction requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

WP:What Wikipedia is not

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Article creation

edit

I would suggest moving your article to your sandbox such as User:Carole Stephane/Lesbian non fiction. Then, you can edit with relative peace. You can click on the (now red) link and start editing. Also, you might consider forming a cabal to write such an article. Drmies might be a good ally. Esp. given her (his?) taste in art... Now why would someone want to do that? ;o) You might want to save a copy of your current article as it is likely to be deleted. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 15:46, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

I converted the deleted Amazon.com links to inline {{cite web}} citations using ISBN numbers instead. The article still needs citations. If you want me to, I can move the page to your sandbox? Let me know here by adding {{ping|Jim1138}} *message* ~~~~ The tilde signiture needs to be added and saved together with the {{ping}}. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 08:18, 31 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Status and Advice

edit
As reviewing administrator, I did not speedy-delete the article. It does not meet any requirement for speedy deletion, but it nonetheless is not acceptable at present. What you primarily need to do is to add references s providing substantial coverage from third-party independent reliable sources, about the genre as a whole. Refs about specific books not discussing the general subject t are not sufficient--you haveto show that the generalsubject of the article has been discussed.

If you can add them immediately, do so. Otherwise, do as suggested above, and you will have 6 months to improve it. DGG ( talk ) 16:24, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
