Masterbation page

edit

Hi, Welcome to Wikipedia.

Please don't vandalize the masturbation page, as it will result in your IP getting blocked.

If you have changes you would like, please go to the Talk:Masturbation page and discuss your ideas with the other people. Because there are a large number of people who watch this page, everyone wants to change the image, resulting in chaos. Whether it is someone who is offended by the image, or someone who puts their own image up, or someone who want a more explicit image, it could be chaotic. Thanks, Atom 03:22, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

The consensus reached in Talk:Masturbation through discussion seems to have been totally useless since anonymous users as well as user Future either insert images never discussed or delete what has been restored, notably Image:Masturbation techniques.jpg. The image itself has been deleted altogether from the data base by user JoshuaZ with the consequence that it is no longer visible in Talk:Masturbation and that the whole section of discussing the "New Image" there at Talk:Masturbation#The_New_Image has become utterly pointless. This is vandalism in a most irritating way. In the meantime, I have deleted all images in the controversial first section on the Masturbation page. CarlosLuis 2:25, 6 September 2006.

Yes, it can be frustrating sometimes. The consensus image was deleted by an admin because there is a discussion about this image, and a few others goign on now on the admin pages. Their are some that feel that this particular image, and an image by publicgirluk were uploaded by their boyfriends, and not by the person in the picture. Someone else is communicating with them in the hopes that it can be worked out. Let's give it some more time. I'm not sure which image you prefer on the page. I thin the Wikipedia standard is to have some visual photo as the lead in that sets the tone for the article, and gives the reader a quick recognition of the topic, with little distraction. That's why I like the artwork, or line drawings better, as they are descriptive, without seeming eroticized. SOme people like other images simply because they are eroticized. Then, in the female section, the best of the female choices, and in the male section, the best of the male photos. In those cases, again, something visually clear. First a couple of things: User:Future is not me: I am User:The Future, so you're talking about the wrong person above..

From above:

I want to know the meaning of this. I never inserted Images never discussed or deleted any Images. I only removed a Image that was deleted prior to the removal. If your going to rant to someone for thier actions, please get your information accurate before you post it. Thank you! — The Future 20:03, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
