Speedy deletion of F*INK edit

A tag has been placed on F*INK requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. March 2009 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added a {{hangon}} template to an article, F*INK. In order for an administrator to evaluate whether the article should be speedy deleted or not, we request that you provide reasoning, on the article's talk page, for why it should remain. Thank you. Help requests edit

Hi. Whenever you wish to request help, please put the {{helpme}} tag here on your talk page, rather than within the article or the article's talk page. Cheers! Taroaldo (talk) 06:45, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Caroline McCaw edit

A tag has been placed on Caroline McCaw requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. {{helpme}} I am editing the article for 'f*INK', it will take some time but I don't want the article removed (it's tagged for deletion). The subject is worthy - how do I make sure the page is not deleted?

You need to provide enough reliable sources that show that the article is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia. If you read Wikipedia's notability policy, that might help you. If the article is deleted before you have time to show it is notable (if it is indeed so), you can ask any administrator on Wikipedia to provide you a copy of what you wrote (you can later come back and resubmit it with the proper sources to show notability). AfD nomination of F*INK edit

I have nominated F*INK, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/F*INK. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Taroaldo (talk) 21:18, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've voted to keep the article; I hope you'll be able to source some valid references. Good luck; --  Chzz  ►  02:48, 22 March 2009 (UTC) P.S. I've also tagged it for the article rescue squad; hopefully they'll help. --  Chzz  ►  02:50, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Did you manage to find further refs? Let me know on my talk. --  Chzz  ►  15:30, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I was pleased to see that the result of the deletion discussion was 'No consensus' - which means that it will be kept for now, although it doesn't preclude a further debate at a later date. If you can manage to improve the article further - especially with more, good references - then I can't see any further problems.
So - good luck, and if you have any further questions that I can help with, please leave me a note in a new section on my talk. Cheers! --  Chzz  ►  00:48, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

f*INK edit

Hi Martin - I've had a look at the article. It's still a little thin notability-wise as far as Wikipedia's concerned, but I think it's got enough in the way of external refefrences now that it would survive if anyone else decided to take it for deletion. Grutness...wha? 13:51, 29 May 2009 (UTC) (James)Reply

WikiMagazine Project edit

Hi Cargill208, I noticed you are a member of the WikiProject Magazine, which I have joined and will contribute in the future. I have created a new page for an online magazine Bloginity which was up for speedy deletion several times for several reasons. I was hoping to get your voice on this matter and help me get the page published as it contains quality and informative information for anyone who is interested in reading about the background, and foundation. I am looking forward to your reply, and hoping that you would share your voice in this article entry. (71.190.254.239 (talk) 21:18, 20 January 2011 (UTC)).Reply

February 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Nina Czegledy  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:51, 14 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Arthur Street School edit

The article Arthur Street School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable school. No independent sources with in depth coverage as required by the WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
