On the file History of the Jews in Libya please create a discussion page, it has not been created, that way if any one has a conversation they want to share , the page is already set up.
And if it is a new user that still is getting around? And he does not know how to ask someone on talk pages of that user, what is he supposed to do?

HOw do I create the discussionpage, then? Put Wikiproject Jewish or something?

Oh, I'm sorry I forget to put it.I mean on Under various months like for an example:December 5th,very often under "Births" and "Deaths", it will show people that lead to red links.

DYK... Mistake edit

Ummm, you credited me with the creation/expansion of Leo J. Ryan Federal Building for DYK, when I have never even heard of the article (or the building!) So, I think something strange must have gone on... someone fraundulently crediting me with the article? What if this happens, but in reverse? Perhapes the DYK system is too easily manipulated and or penetrated? On the other hand, if someone did credit me, I can't fathom why... Anonymous Dissident 23:48, 3 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

William Stark edit

Is this article suitable for DYK? or just the 'Darwin Awards'.

William Stark (1741–1770) was an English physician who investigated scurvy by experimenting on himself with fatal consequences.... By November 1769 he was living on nothing but pudding, albeit with black currants to celebrate Boxing Day. He had considered testing fresh fruits and vegetables but was still working through tests with honey puddings and Cheshire cheese when he died in February 1770. Question about DYK articles edit

The article Geison is March 5 DYK nomination. It seems to be a very nice article, but has a merge tag on it (which I noted on the nomination page). There has been some discussion of the merits of merging on the article's talk page; but, I dont' think the issue is resolved. Do you think that it is ok for the article to be on DYK with a {{merge}} tag still in place? — ERcheck (talk) 14:52, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Actors Theatre of Atlanta edit

Can you please undelete the page we began on Actors Theatre? Is there something about the way the article was written (format).

Actors Theatre is very notable since it was the very first professional theatre company in Atlanta to open as an all Equity professional Theatre company - a city that now has surpassed Chicago for the number of theatre companies.

Our Board of Advisors included Uta Hagen until her death in January of 2004 - the philosophy of the styleof acting we use is based on my 20 years of studies with herin New York at HB Studios as wellas with her protege, Ted Brunetti. In addition, Joe Mantello and Peter hedges are Advisory Board Members.

Actors Theatre's work has been critically acclaimed and continues to present world class theatre.

Please advise how we can be relisted.

Thank you for your consideration -

Jay Freer Founder Producing Artistic Director Actors Theatre of Atlanta

Kuppalli DYK edit

Hello, I am fine with the modified DYK hook for Kuppalli. However, it has been moved to Expired noms section now. The hook was added 3 days back, and till now there was no concerns raised. Now, after you provided the modified nom, and before I provide my response it has been moved to Expired noms. I believe, it is still eligible to be selected for DYK. It was created on 12th and further expanded on 13th (Article history). Request you to put this in the NextUpdate. Thanks. - KNM Talk 04:25, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why did you remove my entries? Bondkaka 11:39, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

So you exchanged my suggestion with an expired nomination... Right? Bondkaka 11:42, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
You cannot start your own rues by exchanging nominations which are about to expire, with expireed nominations. And if a dispute is resolved, I understand the article has up to another 5 days to make it. I would suggest that this "problem" is fixed within the next couple of days. -- Bondkaka 11:49, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
I've never heard of a rule that states that an article has another five days once a dispute has been resolved. I don't think there's anything wrong with bending the rules in certain cases, especially in cases like this one. Russian legislative election, 1906 can be used the next time DYK is updated.-- Carabinieri 12:02, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hi Carabinieri! Actually, there is. Otherwise, artificial disputes would risk to disqualify eligible nominations. I think user:Bondkaka did a good job moving nominations to the Next Update. The problem here is that the "disputed" article is competing with other articles that are just about to expire. Right now, there is a good balance of articles, so let's wait with the article till later in the day (Next update already includes an architecture based article, and two might just be one too many). Camptown 12:28, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh - is there such a rule? Where? -- ALoan (Talk) 17:36, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Though I'm all for turning a blind eye and including entries that are expired by a day or so, if they were nominated early, I haven't been able to find that rule anywhere either.-- Carabinieri 17:45, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Quite. I think it would be quite a change in current practice. However, if "disputes" were being created tactically, to block an article, I may change my mind.
Is this discussion worth mentioning on WT:DYK? -- ALoan (Talk) 18:49, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
