Hello, Captbananas, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Mushroom 18:01, 31 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the warm welcome Mushroom!! I have been a reader of Wikipedia for along time now, and constantly find myself entranced by the wealth of information that it offers, and it was that same reason that I was so afraid to make any edits for so long. It is somewhat humbling to see so much information, and then one day decide to make an edit to someone elses work. But that finally happened, recently enough, at least on a small scale. Essentially, I taught myself the scripting here with a little trial and error, and some reverse engineering, the same way I taught myself HTML years and years ago. Anywho, just wanted to say thanks for the welcome, and you can bet i'll be hanging around, and edit things that I feel need an edit (which hasnt happened all that often yet!) captbananas 19:18, 31 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
