GTA San Andreas Myths

edit

A tag has been placed on GTA San Andreas Myths, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Proposed deletion of GTA San Andreas Myths

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article GTA San Andreas Myths, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Duplication of information at Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Thanks, That page was useless. thanks

It doesn't matter if the page is useless, on Wikipedia there is still a process to get rid of it. If a recently created page obviously doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Wikipedia content, you can mark it for speedy deletion. FlyingToaster 18:35, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of "Doctor Salvador"

edit

The deletion of an article you created, Doctor Salvador, has been proposed for the following reason:

Irredeemably unencyclopedic... Wikipedia is not a video game walkthrough.

You are welcome to improve the article to meet Wikipedia's quality standards and remove the deletion notice from the article. You may also remove the notice if you disagree with the deletion, though in such cases, further discussion may take place at Articles for deletion, and the article may still be deleted if there is a consensus to do so.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy. You may wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Newsaholic (talk) 18:42, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Article is not a walkthrough just a description of a charactor that people dont know the name of! Captaincharisma98 (talk) 18:56, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Captaincharisma98Reply

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Doctor Salvador. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Frickative 03:47, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Wario.jpeg

edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Wario.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:38, 9 July 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:38, 9 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wipeout

edit

The idea of making a separate episode article seems OK but there are several problems with the way you execute it, for example you also removed everything after the episodes from Wipeout (2008 game show) so I reverted you. I suggest you make a proposal to make a separate episode article on Talk:Wipeout (2008 game show), and then let a more experienced editor who better knows Wikipedia practices carry it out if there is support.   Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Ryan Higa and Sean Fujiyoshi. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Orphaned non-free image File:Wario.jpeg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Wario.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:05, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
