October 2019 edit

Your recent editing history at Gordon Walker (piper) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:07, 26 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

November 2019 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. --VVikingTalkEdits 14:05, 25 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

October 2023 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for advertising or promotion.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:53, 25 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
This is in reference to the recent blocked indefinitely decision by yourself, on the matter of the page Gordon Walker (piper), this has been an ongoing issue and one where recently I have tried to accurately correct the information on the page and expand the information. There are false claims about types of work being carried out - these are un-cited ad cannot be backed up. My edit only removed this one line, and also added to the existing, o to change what was already written. I cited my work with multiple different links and also first hand of the subjects views. I feel the editor who has repeatedly challenged my edits is the one who's sole purpose is to highlight one point of the 'child abuse' which in itself is a false claim to the truth.
It can be seen on the edit history that I have to been the only editor who has been challenged by the same person in this edit war.
I wish to have my block lifted and be allowed to build on and correct what is already on this page.

Decline reason:

Looking at your edits, they seem promotional. For example, you added the text "As a recitalist, Gordon is a piper’s piper and his performances can be breathtaking. His creative skill in arranging existing tunes is brilliant." without an inline citation. In your next unblock request, you should address the allegation that your edits are promotional. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
