Promotion of a business

In practice the links were to images at what seems likely to be your company's website. This would be against policy both from a promotional perspective and because of conflict of interest. That other things exist has never been a valid argument on Wikipedia. There is a link to my blog however I had been a contributing editor here and on a number of other wikis long before that single link was placed. I understand what you say - we were all new once. However that is not really born out by your behaviour on Commons in wishing to remove your image there? --Herby ^{talk thyme} 15:13, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
