Notes edit

Hi! I have some notes on your draft. What an interesting topic! Nice choice!

  • This needs more sourcing to back up claims. You should use your college's academic databases for this, as they'll be the strongest sourcing out there. I would avoid using Google Search as not all of the results that it brings up are usable. For example, while the blog Sex, Drugs and Economics looks like it would be usable at first glance since it's written by a professor, it's also a self-published source and doesn't undergo any sort of editorial or verification process that would satisfy Wikipedia. The info is likely not wrong, but it's still not really usable unless that specific blog is routinely cited as a reliable source by other reliable sources. Now the issue with the other source is that it's written by a company that offers its services to people and actually closes the post out with a mention for people to contact them, presumably to offer their services in some aspect. It's something I would be leery about.
  • The other note is to just be careful to remember that you're writing for a general audience, who may need a little more clarification, and for the writing to not be too casual. Your writing is overall good and I'm not terribly worried about it, but it's a good reminder to throw out there since some of this can get a little technical.

I think you're doing well, the main thing I'd focus on is the sourcing. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:17, 12 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
