Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Cantdecideifimgonnacollidewithhopeormakemybridetheropeorjusthideinthedope", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because usernames should not exceed 40 characters. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 18:40, 10 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Diannaa: Well; I see they have neither requested a new username, nor explained here why they think it's valid. But still it's 73 characters. In fact, since they have made no edits to this talk page, and none to artcle talk, I suggest they are averse to any form of communication at all. — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 09:01, 15 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Atlantic slave trade into Extermination through labour. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:08, 10 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I see by your edit to 1971 Bangladesh genocide that you are still not adding the required attribution, as required under the terms of the CC-by-SA license. Please have a look at this edit summary as an example of how it is done. Please leave a message on my talk page if you still don't understand what to do or why we have to do it. Thanks, — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 00:00, 15 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Chittagong Hill Tracts conflict, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 09:41, 11 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your username

edit

Hello, Cantdecideifimgonnacollidewithhopeormakemybridetheropeorjusthideinthedope. Concerns have been raised that your username may be incompatible with policy. You can contribute to the discussion about it at the page for requests for comment on usernames. Alternatively, if you agree that your username may be problematic and are willing to change it, it is possible for you to keep your present contributions history under a new name. Simply request a new name at Wikipedia:Changing username following the guidelines on that page, rather than creating a whole new account. Thank you. Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Cantdecideifimgonnacollidewithhopeormakemybridetheropeorjusthideinthedope, is excessively long, and formatted in a way that makes it difficult for other editors to read.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} on your user talk page, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
