I guess I’m a bit confused. The article was initially rejected citing lack of notability, even though this athlete has been inducted into multiple sports halls of fame and the citations demonstrated this (i.e., citing the hall of fame induction profiles).
So I aimed to include 2 newspaper articles for each major point (i.e., finals MVP, All-Canadian, 3x conference all-star). Each of the newspaper articles covers said point. But now I’m receiving feedback that this is citation bombing.
I guess I’m just confused on what reviewers consider to meet the notability standard. The initial comment indicated that induction into multiple sports halls of fame does not reach notability, but now news paper articles that establish the points that were reported in the halls of fame induction profiles constitutes citation bombing. I guess it’s unclear to me how to establish notability with these instances of feedback, which to me appear to conflict. Canfan1964 (talk) 15:27, 7 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Canfan1964. Please don't add more than 2-3 citations to verify a claim. Refer to Wikipedia:Inline citation and Wikipedia:Citation overkill for more clarity. Happy editing <3 Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 07:59, 8 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
