Crunchyroll in lead; Ciarán Strange's nationality edit

152.0.143.15 The shows were not produced by Funimation, by the nature of the Funimation brand being phased out. The building that produced Funimation dubs has literally been rebranded Crunchyroll, alongside the rest of the company. Reliable sources make clear what brand is responsible for those shows. I know it can be confusing and frustrating, but it is accurate to describe those shows as produced by Crunchyroll, even if it is just the same Funimation office that was there 3 months ago, with a different name on the sign. Even with that aside, Funimation's name is not used once in the reliable sources which give Ciarán credit for those roles.

As for the nationality - I really do not know what you mean by "also removed his dual nationality from a certain Ciarán Strange just in case". Strange is described as British in this article and British-born isn't listed as a use case in WP:UKNATIONALS, so I'm not aware of any policy, essay or otherwise, that dictates that "English-born" should be used over "British". As the UKNATIONALS essay says, there is no consensus on which should be used. So, I remain confused why you persist. Canadianerk (talk) 13:52, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
