Hi Cameronrooney, thank you for your prompt answer and explanations. Indeed the 2012 Venice Days section has been in a mess and I am currently working to put it in order. The most reliable source of a festival or a side event is always the relevant official website. In this case it is the Official site of the Venice Days itself: http://www.venice-days.com/2012/film.asp?lang=eng. According to this source the sub-events apart from the Official Selection are named Special Events (which do not include the titles formarly shown as such), Venice Nights, Miu Miu Women’s Tales Special Projects (Where the Alessio Di Zio films belong) and Lux Prize. You will notice that in the later years of the Biennale series, these subsections have been included and I am working backwards in time now. Give me a bit of time and the 2012 edition will soon be ready. I hope things will be as you also find them correct, if not I am still open to suggestions. Also thank you for pointing out that the Di Zio films are actually US ones and not Italian, as one source had it. Hoverfish Talk 20:40, 20 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
