Welcome but be careful about two guidelines

Welcome to Wikipedia and feel free to ask around for help:

• Be careful about conflict of interest, see WP:COI. Many new editors come to Wikipedia-Chem to cite their own work. Tens of thousands of papers appear annually in chemical journals.
• For this reason, the guideline WP:SECONDARY is encouraged - citing books and reviews, not specialized articles. By sticking to secondary sources, one avoids a lot of problems.
