Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, Calvin Bryant, Florida. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Hi MrOllie,
There is no external relationship between Calvin Bryant and Jean Ribault. Jean Ribault is a history character and Calvin Bryant is only interested in history and religion. So please pay attention that there is no conflict of interest with the topic. It the same for John Calvin, he is also a history and religious character and had no external connection with Calvin Bryant. I would be thankful if consider that and let me know if you have more questions regarding this issue. Thank you. 35.138.25.44 (talk) 02:15, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
You seem to be confused. The COI is Calvin Bryant adding their paintings to Wikipedia articles. This is a problem per both WP:COI and WP:NOR. These paintings should not be used on Wikipedia. MrOllie (talk) 02:31, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

January 2023 edit

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 01:22, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Complaint about your edits on my talk page edit

Please see User talk:EdJohnston#Troublesome SPA user. Your habit of adding images to our articles that were created by you may run afoul of our WP:COI policy. You should be waiting for other editors to make a decision to add those images. You can respond to the complaint on my talk page if you wish. If the pattern of your edits continues you are risking a block. EdJohnston (talk) 05:18, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Again, you've got to stop trying to add these images you've made to Wikipedia. MrOllie (talk) 12:56, 29 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
