Rutherford B. Hayes, fam John McClain (talk) 19:41, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I think reading the Folly of Fools would be cool Caleb Zander (talk) 19:44, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Guys!! What if we expanded this article on Ruth Winifred Howard: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Winifred_Howard

She was an African-American Psychologists in the mid-1900s. Alliejuve (talk) 19:49, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I like this one too about Rutherford B.HayesAsh96hassam (talk) 22:11, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'm down John McClain (talk) 19:50, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'll look up some stuff about her early life, and I found some stuff http://www.apadivisions.org/division-35/about/heritage/ruth-howard-biography.aspx John McClain (talk) 19:51, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Here's another possibility: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Jahoda Alliejuve (talk) 19:52, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

That looks good too, she doesn't have a lot of stuff John McClain (talk) 19:54, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Here's another cool one! She was a pioneer in appraisal theory of emotion; changed the direction of psych as we know it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magda_B._Arnold Alliejuve (talk) 19:55, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I think Ruth Winifred Howard would be a solid choice because I've found a lot of unused sources about her alreadyJohn McClain (talk) 19:56, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I second that! I didn't really find much on the others but Ruth Winifred Howard could be one of our choices. Ash96hassam (talk) 22:14, 5 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I third that decision Caleb Zander (talk) 16:49, 6 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

What's our second option though? Caleb Zander (talk) 17:25, 6 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Do we have a second option? Who did we not find a lot of material on? Alliejuve (talk) 16:55, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

What about Magda B. Arnold? Caleb Zander (talk) 17:40, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I wonder about her too...I'd say either her or Howard. Both are important and interesting but Arnold might be a little easier to research because her contribution is provocative. Alliejuve (talk) 19:05, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Assignment 4John McClain (talk) 18:04, 21 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I had Ruth W. Howard as your first choice. You should be able to find plenty of info on her. Also, she's a psychologist of color. However Magda Arnold is a fine choice as well. Just make sure your group settles on one or the other before adding your comments for Assignment 4. J.R. Council (talk) 21:59, 20 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
I just noticed you mentioned Rutherford B. Hayes as a possible topic. What does he have to do with the history of psychology? J.R. Council (talk) 17:08, 26 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Assignment 1 Feedback

Hi Caleb. Nice job on user page but you have't done any of the training. Please complete modules 1 and 2, on Wikipedia Essentials and Editing Basics, for full credit on this assignment. J.R. Council (talk) 17:28, 26 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your topic choices

edit

Hi Group 6. I think Ruth Howard is an excellent choice. She was a pioneering African American psychologist and there's not that much information in the current Wikipedia article. You should have the potential to really develop this into an important article. J.R. Council (talk) 18:19, 16 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
