Connection to D'Youville College?

Do you have a connection to D'Youville College? ElKevbo (talk) 16:28, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

@ElKevbo: No, I am a religious historian working for the Diocese of Syracuse. I have been researching the origins and transformation of religious affiliated institutions in New York State. Caityspeakstruth (talk) 16:37, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Governance and religious character are essential descriptors of colleges and universities

edit

Please don't remove governance (i.e., public or private) from the lede sentence of articles about colleges and universities; it's a critical descriptor of an institution that needs to be among the very first things that readers know. Similarly, for institutions that claim an explicit religious character then that, too, needs to be in the lede sentence. ElKevbo (talk) 19:58, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
