Cafezz Music Article for Creation edit

Hello! There are a couple more issues regarding the article. While you may be the author of the CDBaby prose, it is very difficult for Wikipedia to confirm this. You may place a notice on the CDBaby site that states "you are free to copy information on this page". However, CDBaby may consider all material on its site copyright, so that may not suffice. Much better to re-write the information for Wikipedia. There is another problem: Notability. The CDBaby site is not independent of the subject, because it sell's the artists' music, and because most content on CDBaby is artist-generated. Please see the general notability guidelines and the music notability guidelines. In short, are multiple sources, independent of the subject, giving in-depth coverage of the subject? I hope that helps. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 16:13, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi! can I use my own site to confirm the text? Its on http://www.musicaparafiestas.com/cafezz/s_nosotros_ingles.htmlCafezz Music (talk) 16:51, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps, but you'd have to prove you have right to use that text, and CDBaby still might assert the text is part of their copyright site. It does not address to notability issue, your site is very much not independent of the subject. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 17:24, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks so much for your quick responses. Can I then cite cdbaby? I really like the text the way it came out :DCafezz Music (talk) 18:05, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

It's a weak source. You can cite it (as opposed to copying), but it really won't help get your article approved for mainspace exposure. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 18:42, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! I'll rewrite. Cafezz Music (talk) 19:20, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
