Trimel

edit

Hi! Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw that you requested trimel on User:Skysmith/Missing topics about Pharmacy. Can you tell me more about what this is? ―Biochemistry🙴 04:14, 31 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

It's an antibiotic I was once prescribed for a urinary infection. "Novo-trimel" is what the label said. I successfully googled it but it seems to be absent from WP (unlike several other antibiotics I researched). Thx for looking into this. I'm a noob here, obviously! :o) ps- I don't need the info for my own sake. It just seemed like an omission (since the other antibiotics ARE covered). But maybe there are other topics that're more important (ie, more deserving of your attention). Cheers— Preceding unsigned comment added by Cabbageears (talkcontribs)
Ah, then you're referring to a brand name version of sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim, of which we already have a page for. We don't generally create separate pages for brand names of medications, but I appreciate the thought! (: I've taken the liberty of adding the brand name to the list of other brand names for this medication. Let me know if you need any help getting started--we were all noobs once. Cheers! ―Biochemistry🙴 04:38, 1 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
